Worf was given to my family as a Christmas present from a friend of my dad. He was nothing but
a little ball of fur, but we loved him the very second we saw him. We named him Worf after one of my dad's favorite
characters on Star Trek. The little Chow Chow mix instantly became a member of the family. According to the lady
who gave him to us, he was purebred Chow Chow, but couldn't be registered because the sire (father) wasn't registered.
Once I started learning all about the different dog breeds of the world, I learned that a purebred
Chow Chow had a solid colored purple tongue...Worf's tongue does have purple in it, but it also has the characteristic pink
in it too. This is why I have come to believe that my puppy, Worf, is not purebred... I think he has some
German Shepherd Dog in him, though.
